What’s New with Coppley for Spring 2015
This season, we are loving what Coppley has to offer to our dapper (and aspiring-dapper!) clientele. Their fabrics are lighter and the colors are more natural, the silhouettes are clean and the quality, like always, is top notch.
More Natural Colors
2015 is all about earthier, more grounded tones, and Coppley has adeptly executed this trend. They’ve creatively combined grey, blue and tan with emerald green, indigo blue, ochre and plum.
Lighter Fabrics
Spring is all about ditching your heavy wool suits and sport coats for lighter, more breathable ones. So, Coppley blended fine summer-weight merino wool with linen and silk, both natural fabrics that keep you warm but don’t retain moisture.

The Newest Robert Talbott Collection is Available Right Here in Fort Wayne
As warmer weather starts to trickle in here in Fort Wayne, Ind., we crave ditching our heavy coats, structured suits and thick-soled shoes for clothes and accessories that allow for more irreverence and freedom. We are inspired to care less about formalities and to show our lighter, casual sides.
But, we still want to look sharp, of course.
This is why we love Robert Talbott’s Spring 2014 collection. It is the perfect combination of crisp and cool, and we’re excited to share it with the dapper men of Fort Wayne.
The brand has kept their classic patterns like the windowpane and houndstooth check, but colored them with earthier, more grounded tones like slate gray, tan, and dusty orange. “More organic colors are big this spring, and will be big all year, in fact,” says Chris Lambert, owner of Christopher James Menswear. He adds, “Robert Talbott has adopted this trend perfectly in their spring 2015 collection. They’ve delivered their signature statement blazer but with a timely spring 2015 twist.”

Put a Spring in Your Step with Allen Edmonds Shoes
Spring is slowly rolling into Fort Wayne, and we’re hoping to speed up its arrival by debuting Allen Edmonds’ new line of Spring 2015 shoes.

Allen Edmond’s spring collection features dress shoes designed to combat the fickle spring weather in style. They are made with an all-weather Dainite sole, which is basically high-tech studded rubber that will give you extra grip and traction when it’s slick. Dainite soles are perfect if March and April bring more showers than sunshine (and here’s praying they don’t. We’ve already paid our weather dues with the polar vortex and Snowmageddon, right?).
Speaking of earning it–we’ve shoveled more than our fair share of snow and deserve the freedom and irreverence of spring, both of which are embodied in AE’s spring drivers. We love AE drivers. They are lightweight and perfect for a long drive, plane ride and even a lazy Sunday run to the store.

Our Spring Trunk Show is Happening Today!
Today, Christopher James Menswear in Fort Wayne, Ind. is hosting a spring trunk show, partly in hopes of making the warm weather come a little sooner, and partly (and most importantly) to show you new apparel from four top-notch designers that will definitely be big this season: Coppley, Scabal, Robert Talbott, and Allen Edmonds.
Here’s a little bit about the four brands we will be showcasing today:
